Hamza Al Khateeb holds a master degree in Engineering & Public Policy from McMaster University and has more than twenty years of international engineering experience in the HVAC and Energy Management field, he is registered professional engineer in Canada, and certified energy manager and certified sustainable development professional through the Association of Energy Engineers, he has completed the course requirement for ISO 50001 (Lead Auditor) and has the knowledge and experience to guide organizations to achieve the energy management certification.

Hamza is a voting member on five ISO standards, and member of four ASHRAE technical committees, and currently he is the Chairman for the HVAC Standards Committee at the Consulting Service Department in Saudi Aramco, where he is responsible for developing and updating Saudi Aramco HVAC standards to ensure Safety, Reliability, and Energy Efficiency.


Prior to joining Saudi Aramco he was the Energy Manager for the Provincial Health Services Authority in Vancouver, where he developed and established energy management programs that identified energy saving opportunities through direct operational changes, and through implementation of cost-effective capital projects, also he worked as an Industrial energy Solution Consultant for the largest Utility company in Ontario, and delivered demand side management program to improve energy efficiency of the HVAC systems.
